Service status and announcements

Status pill

The small pill in the top bar of the panel shows how Ani is doing right now. Click or focus it to read the full message. It refreshes every minute.

Pill Meaning What to do
✓ All systems up Checks start right away. After a quiet period Ani may be resting: the first check wakes her up and the message tells you roughly how long that takes. Nothing.
◔ Warming up Ani is putting the kettle on - the analysis engine is starting. The message shows the estimated start time (usually about a minute). Start your check; it waits and runs as soon as the engine is ready.
⋯ Queue busy Many checks are waiting. Yours is in the queue and starts shortly. Nothing; large audits take longer.
! Degraded Checks may fail, wait or take longer: a short break, a technical problem, an outage announcement or the daily service limit. Read the banner, try again later. Failed pages are not charged.

Announcements

Planned maintenance, delays or outages appear as a banner at the top of the page. Info and heads-up banners can be closed with ✕ (they stay closed for 30 days in this browser); outage banners stay until the problem is solved. Some announcements apply only to one module (for example Search Intent) and appear only there.

API

GET /v1/status (no API key needed) returns the same information as JSON:

{"level": "warming", "label": "Warming up", "message": "Ani is putting the kettle on - we start in about a minute.",
 "eta_s": 90, "notices": [], "updated_at": "2026-10-14T08:00:00Z"}
  • level: up, warming, busy or degraded; eta_s: estimated seconds until the engine starts (or null).
  • notices: active announcements (id, level info|warning|outage, text, scope, starts_at, ends_at).
  • Language: Accept-Language: pl or ?lang=pl. ?scope=judge|audit|intent|api limits notices to one module.
  • During an announcement flagged for the API, every /v1 response carries X-Service-Notice: <level>; id=<id>; more=/v1/status.

The public page status.askaniela.com shows uptime history.
