Spam & Quality Check¶
Checks one page in up to three audit modes. Pick one, two or all three (all three = full audit):
- Spam - tricks that break Google's spam rules, such as hidden text, keyword stuffing or paid links.
- Quality - how trustworthy and useful the page looks to a careful reader, including who stands behind it and how sensitive the topic is.
- Helpful content - whether the page is written for people: real experience, a clear author, sources and a real answer to the question.
Each mode card shows its price per page. Fewer modes cost less and run faster; two or three modes never cost more than the full audit, which is the cheapest way to run all three.
Run a check¶
- Click New analysis - New check.
- Enter the page URL and pick a Project (by default your default project).
- Under What to check, tick the modes you want (all three are ticked by default).
- Options:
- Evidence for hits - for each likely violation Ani quotes up to 3 fragments of the page, checked against the page text. It does not change the scores.
- Render JavaScript - fetch the page in a browser, for sites that build content with JavaScript (extra price).
- Check the summary and price, then click Run check. It usually takes up to a minute.
Read the report¶
- Spam risk, Quality risk and Helpful content risk are shown separately, and findings are grouped in one section per mode you ran.
- Each rule has a risk score from 0.00 to 1.00. It is a ranking of risk, not a probability and not a Google decision. Higher means the page looks more like the rule describes.
- Labels are neutral information (for example YMYL topic), not problems.
- Not assessed lists rules that cannot be judged from this page alone.
- Use Show findings only or Show all rules to filter the list.
Add more to a report (upgrade)¶
Report levels: Lite, Basic and Premium (Premium adds quoted evidence and fixes, and rating scales such as Page Quality and E-E-A-T). On a finished report you can add a level, another mode or evidence. Only missing rules and steps run, existing scores stay, and you pay only the difference. You see the price and estimated time before you confirm. Failed steps are refunded.
Other actions on a report: Rerun with evidence, Retry with rendering, Export HTML, Export PDF, Share and Report a problem - see Reports.
